I went to my first homo church rock show the other night. I dont know what that means but that is how the paper described The Hidden Cameras. It was a pretty good show all things considering. They are a Torontonian septept including a cello and a violin, a butch drumer, an Arcade Fire member and lots of homos. The saving grace of the night was the AC. Finally got to see the fireworks competition as well. Its pretty sweet, best I have ever seen, had some refreshing zesty beers in the park to start that whole evening out right.
After hating old women all day yesterday and unsucessfully atempting to come up for a way to have them not smell bad withought them having to take 'dangerous' showers or be lathered in perfume, we had an awesome bbq over at JPs palace and feasted on all sorts of flesh. UMMM summer...
Its so humid right now that typing is causing me to sweat. Im out of here. Where's the pool??

Hi. Are you from Quebec?

i'm sweating too... i think i might melt into a puddle of flesh, blood and tissue (i'm not too sure where my bones would go... but i just can't see them there when i close my eyes).
did you see jason collett play at all... the broken social scene guy gone solo? my friend mike plays bass for him. i want to know the scoop from someone who's listened to it. mike says it's pretty good... i'm not a believer when it comes from a band member. they just want me to come out, pay money, and then buy a record.

tyler,
i like your site. you're a clever bird.
3:18 PM
I am not from Quebec, I live here, there is a big difference.
I have not seen Jason Collett play. I have heard about him and I also read some dissapointing reviews by people I sort of trust. That is too bad. I have not first hand experience though. Why is it that band members want friends to pay to see them, friends should be automatic guest list.
Tyler that is a cool site, where did you find that. Its some pretty good flash programing.
7:44 PM
Hey you two.
I have Jason Collett’s new CD. You can check it out here: http://www.arts-crafts.ca/jasoncollett/index2.html
My prediction is that in a year’s time he will be famous.

oh it's true, it is good... well at least according to my standards. it's a bit too slow and peaceful at times, and i like a little noise in my music... but i'll give this two thumbs up for lazy sunday afternoon tunes.
merci

Well heck whoever sent along the arts and crafts site thanks. I have a feeling that its somebody who works for them and they have a internet surveilance technique wherein they can sense when any of their artists are being discussed and they send electronic messages to those people. I do like almost all artist on that label. I just recently got into the most serene republic and dig it. My job is good for exposing me to new artists.
I am going to the amusement parc soon so I will listen to the tunes on Sunday when supposedly its best.
10:48 AM
good thinking... leave it for sunday along with some al tuck.

The posting wasn't someone from arts and crafts...it was me, your favourite cowgirl who now lives in the tee dot.
They have an amazing line up of talent and I have taken it upon my self to shamelessly promote them.
Tuck, do you remember David Myles? He has a CD out. It was reviewed last week in Now and Calgary's Fastforward. His website: http://www.davidmyles.com
He's in town an playing next week. Speaking of Mount A musical talent,
In-Flight Safety is playing here on Friday. Did you know they are semi-famous?! You could have been a rock star Tuck. Bawahahaha. I think you should come up here and heckle them again.
I might come to Montreal this month. I know I am a bad friend because I don't keep in touch. I read your blog, so does that count?
By the way, saw you listed in the Mirror. You're the shit and I'm super proud to be your ex-friend.
Hey PP, when are you coming to see me?!
X's and O's to all,
AJ
1:31 PM
Oh cowgirl AJ! I'm missing you terribly. Sorry about my last Toronto visit... it's a long story not needing to be retold. Keep your bed warm for me! Let me know when you're thinking of going to Montreal. Maybe I'll be able to go at the same time and we can can ride together.
11:19 PM
Hey Leash, so what, are you my ex-friend now? what you talking bout?
I have heard of Myles, Moira and Chris spoke of him a fair bit. They just move to Long Island. It was cool to have them here for awhile though.
You should definitely hit up the MTL. Summer is the bomb and this one has been super fun. HIt it up with PP and well get super bombed.
For the record, I have never seen you wear a cowgirl hat and Amanda Ellis has so my favorite cowgirl ranking may be a little off.... ha, ha.
8:49 AM
Tuck,
Obviously you have never seen me in my turquoise cowboy hat.
Are you around Aug 6th and 7th? I am thinking of dropping in for some shenanigans. Are you game?
AJ
8:59 PM
Hey Leash, I am around those days, I had plans to get right drunk but I guess I can change my plans. Are you going to crash here? We have the Canadian Tire blow up double bed with stand and you are more than welcome to use it. You can even have your own room this time instead of sleeping in the bathtub.
It will be a hoot.
