Ba Ba Booze
Well that was a great weekend of drinking. I got my income tax cheques that intantly boosted my finances by a factor of 32. To celebrate on my supper break I rushed to the Quik Mart and picked up a case of Molson Kick, its got guarana and otherwise its a Molson tasting beer. I washed down my salami sandwhich with a quick one and rushed back to work and I do say the caffein ingredient got me excited to finish my shift whereupon I finished the rest of the beers and felt the perk of the drink for sure. No more passing out drunk for me. Yesterday night was a good friends wedding and I have to say it was pretty good. Felt pretty sweet drinking lots of wine on a leather couch in front of a fireplace listening to a live string quartet but the night got ruined when supper was served because it was so big and tasty that I was so bloated that getting drunk was real hard after. I had about two bottles of wine before the food but they got negeted and I tried in vain to sink as many ceasars as possible later on but to no great avail. I should have brought some single buddies though. This was a ladies galore event. I counted 14 people on the late night dance flour, 11of which were girls and 8 of which were single and all of them were worth buying breakfast for.

last night i went to see the great lake swimmers and witnessed their drummer fall into and break a second floor window. it was exciting...

Unfortunately I have not had the pleasure of dating Alicia. Although I do think I met her once, Tucker didnt have the foresight to tell me she was single. So if you are out there Alicia, we should go out. I am sure the Frederictong/Alberta thing wont be a problem.
(side note: good thing the Bears/LandSharks/Zoombies are only eating the dumb, as opposed to the pathetic and lonely.)
And as far as questions with no answers, I would like to ask this one. Why is it guys with girlfriends are the ones that always find themselves surrounded by dancing breakfast-able women?
Got drunk on Friday with CJackson and JGoodbout and saw the Rheostatics. Always amazes me how much random shit we break when i drink with those guys.(including Pelkey) It was a good time and a great band, but a miss-placed show for a 'last class bash'. All the drunk Uni kids wanted to see Simple Plan or something equally as MuchMusic-overplayed. Oh well, the bears will take care of them soon enough too, I hope.

Oh and for the record, April 10th was the coolest dog in the world's birthday. I got her drunk off a bottle of scotch and 2 pounds of solid chocolate.

I wouldn't consider yourself the unlucky one to be single. I'm single and consider myself lucky... I can still invent the perfect partner and hope to meet them someday rather than try to re-invent the one I was with.
With mostly male friends I don't find myself invited to many female fests either. The next time I'm invited to a slumber party I'll be sure to invite you.
As for Alicia... she's in Toronto (and single right now as far as I know). You still have time to swoosh her off her feet!

Tyler, Happy Birthday to Stripe and Happy Birthday to you last Tuesday. I didn't forget I was just waiting for the right time to congratulate you. I hope Stripe got you drunk on chocolate liquor and made you eat two pounds of butterscotch candy. You should e-date Alicia.
As for you question about guys with girlfriends who find themselves surrounded by dancing breakfast women as opposed to single men in the same situation, well... if you think about it its still a loose-loose situation.
I wouldnt understand anything about breaking random stuff while drunk, you will have to talk to someone else about that. Simple Plan suck, Sum 21 rulz.

Peony Pusher, if you do get invited to an all girl pyjama party and invite Tyler can I get invited too? I promise not to say much and not disturb anyone.
D'ailleurs, for le frençhais... well I speak pretty fluently but it has not been easy. I was in french kindergarten, french elementary school, half french jr high, quarter french high school, year in france and a major in french literature but I still get picked out as an anglo. You have to want to speak french to ever be able to. I like it so I work at it a bit but dont get discouraged. The best two things ever for my french were watching french movies without sub-titles and secondly it was going out for drinks with the french. Loosening up and not speaking nervous or thoughtful french is so helpful as well as just speaking everyday french as opposed to classroom french. I always thought dating a french girl would be even better but none of those snobers wanted anything to do with a often drunk, long haired, north american. Why are you taking french courses?
Avoid Belgians.

if ever i get invited to a party with lots of ladies wearing undergarments i'll be sure to invite the both of you.
i think tyler should e-date alicia... it will suit her busy schedule. and besides... i'd like her to join our conversations. and i like tyler... he seems like an intellegent young suitor.
and... that advice regarding french wouldn't be so hard to take from someone if they hadn't been studying for an entire lifetime. as for me, i completed grade 10 advanced french with a 70% and a really hot tutor. i didn't want to study that hard ever again so i dropped it.
now i'm back picking up the pieces. i don't want to stay in the non-profit field forever. if ever i want a government position, i need to get some languages under my belt. i also have thought of applying for a position at the refugee council of canada located in none other than your hometown montreal. but... the way things are looking, it might be difficult.
maybe i should start dating a frenchman. would i get tips on french kissing you think?
what do you think of a band name 'Vivian Drake'? my friend and i are trying to choose one... we wanted something female since that's what we are... but nothing too revealing... we want to stay 'undercover'. since neither of our names are vivian drake, we figured it worked. it's kind of close to vera drake... which we're not keen on... but we have no other workable titles as of yet.
